Integrate the USB Stick as a normal folder anywhere in your PC:-
XP uses the NTFS file system by default; so you can integrate the usb stick as a normal folder. you would thus brush aside some potential problem sources, for instance when a macro does not locate data on the usb stick, proceed as follow....
(1) First insert the USB stick into the PC. Now go on the control panel then go into the Administrative tool and select Computer Management.
(2) Select the option "Disk Management" under stroage on the left part of the window. Right click on the USB stick integrated as removeable drive and select "Change drive letters and paths".
(3)Click on Add and the active the option Mount in the following empty NTFS folder in the following dialog.
(4)Specify the complete path to the desired folder or determine it using the Browse dialog .
(5)Now you simply need to comfirm all the dialog boxes with OK you will immediately find the contents of the USB stick in the newly created folder.

(plz comfirm that USB stick is connected with your PC)
